Kneller (kneller@MCI2000.com) wrote me a poem inspired by the book.

As I grow the world is shrinking
It's no longer as big as it seemed
I don't know what I am thinking
I can't remember my own dreams
As I grow my world is shrinking
All my wealth is but a rose
I don't know who I'm becoming
I can't remember who I was
As I grow this world is shrinking
I have no one left to tame
I don't know where I am going
I can't remember my own name
As I grow our world is shrinking
But there's nothing I can do
I don't want to leave this world
I just want to stay with you
As you grow your world is growing
And your star will always wink
With a garden full of roses
As it grows you slowly shrink

Hi,

I've sent you the address to my web site because I thought that you could appreciate it. Three years ago tomorrow, my son drew the picture you will see. As far as I know he had never seen the book. The next day he was killed in a car wreak. My brother found a copy of this wonderful little book and sent it to me a few weeks after my son's funeral. Ironically, my son and I had spent many nights looking at the stars. My son was seven years old when he died. My boy's picture and in the book have help me greatly since the accident.
