Asteroid 2578 Saint-Exupery


On November 2nd, 1975 new asteroid was catalogued. It serial number is 2578, and it was named after Antoine de Saint-Exupery. I was unable to find any image of this object, but I will keep looking. Asteroid was found by astronomer T.M.Smirnova, from Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in Ukraine.
On this link you can find all the information about its current position in space. As most of the other asteroids it is located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Saturn. Pretty close to B-612.

I have received this further information about the asteroid from Mr. Vasilij Rumyantsev of Crimean Astrophysical Observatory, institution that discovered the asteroid in 1975.
